GENERAL CONSTRUCTION LABORER

Job Description

The construction laborer will perform a variety of tasks typical of residential and small commercial construction including rough carpentry, installation of interior and exterior building finishes, rotted wood repair, door and window installation, etc. May work as part of a small team or with subcontractors. Flexible schedules for part-time positions. Full-time position works from 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. Project sites are located in Shelby County. Occasional optional travel options for bonus pay.

Qualifications

·       High School diploma required

·       Minimum of 1-year of progressive construction experience

·       Must be fluent in English; bi-lingual in Spanish preferred but not required

·       Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

·       Access to reliable transportation

·       Ability to read construction drawings preferred

Benefits

·      $22-$28/hour part-time; $46,000-$58,000/year full-time

·      Full-time position includes up to two weeks vacation time and most federal holidays off.

·      $500 tool stipend sign-on bonus
